We’re still here…….

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything in the blog and I know y’all were just sitting on the edge of your seats waiting so here is a short update. ;)

WORK!!!!!

I’ve been busy at the office every day so no time to write anything there. My side job has been consuming every off time minute for the last 2 weeks. I’m currently doing a house design and filling in small jobs when I get the chance. Son-in-law Dana gave me a job last week and naturally he goes to the head of the line. I finished his last night and printed the second review set of plans for the house so I am now caught up. For the next few days at least. I have one other job to start but I’m putting it off until we get back from Spring Break.

We leave tomorrow for a few days at Richland Chambers Lake in East Texas. Jackie & Dana rented a lake house in the middle of 4 wooded acres up there and invited us to go along. We’re supplying the groceries and they are providing the place. Pretty sweet deal for us.

I am really ready for a few days off relaxing with my favorite people and Sam. Connie is so excited she was up at 4:00 this morning. She gets wound up whenever we have a trip of any kind planned.

I’m not sure what all we’ll do but the weather is supposed to be nice and I’m sure we’ll have a great time. I’ll try to post an update or two while we’re there along with some pictures.
