We woke up to 25 degrees and a layer of frost on the lawn, deck and vehicles. We covered all of our tender plants last night and hope that all our palms all make it. Last spring, we invested a few thousand dollars and some back breaking work into our landscaping to replace what Hurricane Ike took away, which was everything right down to the lawn. I am keeping my fingers crossed this morning that we don't lose too much.
Funny how our weather is around here, it's going to be back up into the 50's today and 74 on Tuesday.
When we moved here over 30 years ago someone told us, "if you don't like the weather 'round here, wait a minute." It really does change that fast. :)
Frost or snow in this area happens but not very often, when it does people get very excited.
Chase and Megan, our grandkiddos are enjoying the weather even if Papa and Nana aren't. ;) They live about 45 miles north of us and got out of school early yesterday. lol
Okay, I'll admit it, our family poses for pictures. LOL
This time of year we are often blessed with a beautiful sunset looking off our deck as we were this past week.
